I'm right now moving my site to www.sqwiitrader.com where my future blog posts will be for all the members in there.
We also have chat room to do live intraday chart analysis, playing small caps and doing normal swing trades.
We will do much more focus on intraday daytrading too.

Hi Sqwii, will we be able to still read your blogs for free on the new site? I agree that markets need to see some sort of pull back very shortly and a bigger drop later into 2012. Keep up the good work :-)

Sqwii... just started following recently and like your work. In my opinion, would be nice if you keep the blog posts public for some time, since a lot of us are underwater and continuing to seek confirmation and good analysis :) I would like to continue seeing your models before I decide to join... but that's just me. Also hope you stay active on Twitter; ignore the haters! Best wishes!
ReplyDeleteSqwii: I think you should consider to give some discounts for a certain period for members that following you in NWA but now want to join to your site. If they cannot get refund from NWA. It will be double payment. At least, for a period that they could recover from the holding of TVIX due to following in your thesis. Just IMHO.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all , I did not make many underwater - again I do not pull the trigger to buy or sell. I have my oppinion about when its good to buy or sell , but you need to do your own DD instead of blindly following then.

Why is everyone complaining about Sqwii taking his blog private? He has every right to get paid for his opinion and still tweets many of his thoughts for free. Yes our TVIX trade is under water but it could easily double overnight so be patient and be responsible for your own investments.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all nobody can predict the future 100% of the time. I believe Sqwii starting his own service with Bernard has been in the works since early December. That was before the unfortunate wrong market timing going heavy short. So it sure made it look worse asking for a fee now after a month long bad calls. But hey one has to follow through with their plans right? In any case his charting is solid ignore all the noise this is just one of his rare misses imo.

Nobody's arguing that Sqwii isn't a great trader or that he has no right to open his own service; it's genuine advice about the timing of this move and his personal brand, since he's taking so much heat. Anyways, he's staying active on twitter and such so that's good, thanks Chris. And TVIX is a fast mover but... double overnight? No sir :) It has gotten the sh*t kicked out of it for a whole month, day-in-and-day-out; hopefully it's found some support here.

ReplyDeleteWhat I'm saying is as long we get the bigger moves up and down in the markets , I'm happy with it. I'm not looking for an overnight double ,, but catching the longer term swing plays. As I've said summer 2011 ,, that the later on 2011 would be aweful,, it did not take 1 week or 2 weeks ,, but played out over several months.
Then I went very bullish markets late September/Early October and thought a multi month rally would occur ,, did this take 1 week or 2 weeks ? No.... it also took several months and now we are here ... Do I think the drop would come in 1-2 weeks , the answer is again NO....
But I think it will play out later and most likely get a lot worse than it was in 2011.

DeleteChris made a lot of great calls last year, but he made a wrong call recently, which I followed too, as many other fellows. I understand that those who followed Chris are underwater a lot, but it's everybody's own decision to follow his call, and each of us should be responsible for whatever the consequence. Of course, this does not look like a good timing for Chris to start his service, but he has the right to do so, and you also have right to decide whether to join him or not.
